What and Why: A site for learning and sharing resources that uses a community-grounded approach to learn, understand and conduct preservation of refugee cultural heritage.

Who and How: The work on preserving refugee cultural heritage, started in 2012, is conducted by a research collective (why? http://srlp.org/about/collective), including Nora J. Bird, Clara M. Chu and Fatih Oguz, and at that time, all were at the Department of Library and Information Studies http://lis.uncg.edu/people/faculty/ at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Chu is now at the Mortensen Center for International Library Programs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
